01/05/2009 - Cauda or Caput

My boss recently stepped down and has moved on to another department. His team lead position has been posted and I was asked to interview. It looks very likely that I will get the position, but I am anxious because of the Cauda Draconis meaning which speaks of caution on the motives of coworkers and managers alike.

I have seen two other instances of the same symbol in jet streams in the sky since first seeing the sparrows and this tells me that caution at work should still be on my mind...that is until I was reviewing some paperwork this afternoon and I drew a line with a check mark at the end. Just after I drew this line I realized it was again the Cauda Draconis, but laying on its side. This got me thinking and it all hit me at once: What has been the position of the symbols I keep seeing.

I immediately remembered back to each instance I saw the symbol. The first time the sparrows were coming down wires to my left across the intersection diagonally and then across to the left. When I looked up at it, the tail actually came down. The second and third time the tail was coming down. This whole time I have been looking over my shoulder at work because of the warning coming from Cauda Draconis when the symbol was actually Caput Draconis (Head of the Dragon.)

The interpretation, from a business perspective of a business, is actually auspicious. Basically it is a great time to start something new. I feel quite a bit better about the possibility of getting the management job. I am actually excited that they may choose me and I am told that I am the front runner.

12/23/2008 - Leo and the Twenty

I had lunch with Leo today. We discussed his month long trip to Egypt. He had an amazing trip, as one would expect. After catching up, he went to the restroom while I paid the bill. I set a $20 on the table and waited for him. While staring at the dollar I realized that it had an interesting serial number: 02354777C. What was interesting is that it was practically the Fibonacci sequence: 0112358 with 777, a very important esoteric and mystical number. I decided to switch out the twenty with another.

Later that day I checked out the significance of the numbers and came up with the following using a Gematria web site:

235 = To lay upon the neck or to load
4 = A father elated or proud
777 = Man of Prayer

Strung together it might say:

A man of prayer or Father is elated or proud to load or lay upon the neck...?

12/07/2008 - Dots in the Sky

My wife, son and I came out of church this afternoon and I looked up at the sky. I saw three perfectly round and evenly spaced clouds as if a typewriter had imprinted three successive periods on the sky. I thought it was interesting and researched the meaning of three dots. I came up with a few hits:

Materia Prima - Three dots in a rectangle - Not sure what Materia Prima means, primordial ooze?

Salt/Sagittarius - Three tiny circles almost shish kabob'ed

Sand - Two rows of three dots

Spirit or Wine - Three dots with the outer two connected by a V

Steel - Three dots with the outer two connected by a U and a line connecting the center dot to the U (Maybe this meant that the Steelers were about to win!)

Interesting, but of unknown relevance at this time.

12/06/2008 - Poker Phone

My wife and I were watching a new George Clooney movie Michael Clayton this evening. In the scene we were viewing, Michael was sitting at a organized crime poker room playing Texas Hold'em. The scene cuts to a view of a bin with his personal effects including his cell phone. At the exact moment his cell phone rings, with a similar sound and exact duration of ring, our house phone rings. On the phone was a good friend of mine who was telling me about a mutual friend she just got off the phone with. It turns out that he was coming back from a week long Texas Hold'em poker tournament where he won first place.

Interesting coincidence don't you think?
