5/08/2008 - Dead Dove

My wife and son were out of town last night. When I went outside to grab the paper, a dead dove was on the front lawn. I did not think anything of it at first, but at the end of the day when I came home from work, there was blood all over the porch. I was intrigued and spent the rest of the day researching the meaning of dead doves on porches and could not find anything. I did however find out that the encient greeks studied birds and divined using Ornithomancy. An interesting thought but still no information on the dove.
