Think+ Again! - 5/31/2012

Today a co-worker who I have never discussed my Think+ statement/symbol responded to an email I sent with this: "Oh, the Power of Positive Thinking!" It still is following me around! :)

It is the Little Things that Count - 5/29/2012

The other day I was sitting there thinking to myself, "I have not had a call, or text or email come into my phone all morning." As I picked up my phone to see if I had any messages or icons on my droid, it rings. My wife was the first call I got all morning and it came in right when I was noting and looking over my phone! :) If that was not enough, this morning I came in thinking I would have to reschedule a meeting at 09:00 as I did not have enough time to prepare. I opened outlook and was going to email a coworker who coordinated it, and there was an email from her that had just arrived stating that she was going to have to reschedule the meeting. Like I said, it is the little things that matter and let you know you are still following the path properly!

Think+ the Production Company - 5/11/2012

I went to watch the movie Hugo today and during the opening credits saw a variant of the Think+ symbol staring me straight in the face. The logo for the company, Infinitum Nihil, turns out to be Johnny Depp's production company:

I find it so interesting how this symbol keeps following me around.  The universe is truly amazing!

Outhouse - 4/29/2012

Did you ever wonder why someone says a copany develops something "in house?" is that opposed to "out house?"

Today, after laughing to myself earlier in the day about this funny little phrase, a co-worker verbalized this to me. I never thought of this silly statement until today. Now the day I do, another person comes up with it within only a few hours!?

Triple Psychic? - 4/20/2012

I went with a friend to see a movie today. Wen I was pulling into the parking structure, I saw a car coming down e street toward me. For some strange reason I though this must be my friend, although I have never seen his car. When I was waiting for my parking ticket, the same car pulls in behind me. IT WAS HIM and I knew it be fore I even saw him!

Before the movie we ate lunch. During jthe conversation he told me that he and his wife were expecting. On the drive to the theater, I told myself "he and his wife have been married about a year, I bet they are going to have a baby soon!"

After the movie, which was fun BTW, I gave the attendant my endorsed parking ticket. He took it and replied "six dollars please."

I dug through my wallet and handed it to him but paused as he grabbed the money. "Did I not have the ticket endorsed?"

I asked. "yes...sorry there is no charge. Have a nice day!" the attendant said after flipping over the ticket.

 I placed the six dollars into my shirt pocket and drove to run an errand of shredding some personal documents at a local charity. After using my coupon to pay for the four bags of documents, the receptionist said "That will be six dollars sir"

Guess what the universe has stuck into my shirt pocket...exact change! Quite an interesting day!

Pennies from heaven (or more like dollars) - 4/13/2012

The universe has been sending me a lot of money lately.  Within one week I won $40 in the lottery, got three healthcare mistakes resulting in $60 refund and was notified by the state that I had almost $700 in unclaimed promptly (cash) waiting for me!  I can't wait to see what is next ;)

Colors and museum - 4/6/2012

Today while touring the Atomic museum in Albuquerque, I found the most intriguing device on display:

This is a Specro-Chrome Device invented by Dinshah Ghadiali in the early 20th century.  Supposedly used to treat varied physical maladies using simply projected light through different colored filters.

This is very interesting because Leo and I have researched color and music (see the post 4/11/2008 - Another Lunch with Leo) and felt that this device would be quite interesting to do some experiments with!

0424240 - 3/28/2012

I made an eye doctor appointment today and found the date and time interesting. April 24th at 2:40pm, that is 0424240. Kind of fun! I need to keep my eyes out for anything else interesting.

Tootsie - 3/21/2012

Only a few minutes after telling our son about the old tootsie candy commercial with the owl, the commercial appeared out of nowhere.  I have not seen this commercial in probably fifteen years only to turn on the tv and see it there after just telling him about it.

Buster - 3/18/2012

This weekend I was not able to ignore a call in my heart to look at city shelters for a dog.  I spent a four hours looking at pictures of dogs.  Eventually our family went to two local shelters.  When we arrived into one building at our west side shelter I immediately noticed a dog huddled under a pile of three other dogs being violated by another male dog who was obviously trying to dominate him.  This sad little dog seemed completely malnourished with ribs and hip bones sticking out.  We spent a little time with him and decided that he was going home with us!

After a few days we quickly realizes that without human intervention, this dog will allow any other dog to come along and eat its food.  We knew that if we had not adopted him that he would had been dead in a matter of days.  He gained four pounds in a couple of weeks which equates to about fourty perent of his body weight!

Meet Buster! ! :D

Not only has he quickly become a part of the family, but he has transformed my son.  It is as if he has filled my son's only child syndrome.  He is happier, more mindful, kind and interested in everything now.  Buster has been truly a blessing!

A winter of destruction - 3/6/2012

Not only have I has an incredibly dry winter of synchronicity, but my family and I have seemed to experience an inordinately high degree of bad luck and illness.     Starting with a scary tonsil surgery and an uncomfortable departure of a guest in our home, we seemed to be trapped in a downward spiral.  My son went back into the hospital after the surgery, broke his finger in NY, and had two back to back illnesses that put us at brink of being over the maximum absences from school.  I actually counted 56 consecutive days in the first quarter where a member of my family was sick.  Some lung attacking illness that lasted over two weeks per person! :P

My wife and I discussed the need to do something about our stretch of bad luck.  Cleanse the house, do a karma reset, good luck ritual...something!

1/11/2011 - Another Quiet Winter

I seems that this is the third year that Synchronicity has slowed to a crawl.  I have not recognized much if anything since November and the pattern is unmistakable.  Maybe it is merely a distraction of the busyness of the Holidays or just the quietness of winter.  Nonetheless, I have experienced little until today.

My wife and I were talking and I thought it would be funny to blurt out a random statement after picking her up and tossing her on the couch.  "Tune in Tokyo," I said.

She just stared at me bewildered and said, "I had never hear that phrase until last week when I was in California with my friend...We were just talking about how our husbands had never picked us up and tossed us on anything.  Shortly after that we discussed the strange phrase she used 'Tune in Tokyo.'"

It is amazing how our shared reality stretches beyond locale to expose me to experiences had hundred of miles away by my wife.  This supports theories I have been researching lately that a family unit is sort of like a communal organism experiencing life together instead of separately.  It kind of explains how it seems both my wife and son tend also to have Synchronicitous happenings.

11/25/2010 - Hero

Remember the post about the Dukes of Hazzard? Funny thing happened while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade this morning. Ever since the night we started singing these old TV show themes, I have not been able to get The Greatest American Hero song out of my head. At least two or three times a day I break out in "Believe it or not I'm flying on air. I never thought I could be so freeeeeeee, flying away on a wing and a prayer...who could it be...believe it or not it's just me." Even the morning of the parade I was humming and singing this with my wife and son.

We got to a part of the parade when a marching band was playing behind the announcers about to cut to commercial when there is came in the background. The band was playing the song I have been singing for weeks and this morning. It was truely amazing again as I have not heard this song since I was watching the show so many years ago!

Amazing!

10/14/2010 - Dukes

My family and I were sitting down for dinner again while listening to an 80's satellite radio station from the living room.  Our son was asking about old TV shows when we were younger and we started talking about shows like "The Greatest American Hero" and "The Dukes of Hazzard."  We started laughing and singing the old catchy tunes together when out of nowhere from the radio station came Waylon Jennings "...Just'a good ole boys...never meanin' no harm..." 

I can probably tell you I had nave heard that song since I watching the Dukes of Hazzard as an eight year old!

10/4/2010 - Broken Glass

Tonight my family and I were sitting down for dinner when we heard what sounded like a large thud followed by shattering of glass.  It sounded something like something soft but heavy hitting a car window and pieces of glass went flying all over our tile.  We looked around the room and found that a rectangular glass storage container had spontaneously burst.  Each side had shot out in all directions as if something in the middle had exploded.  Out dogs were sitting on the other side of the room with us and we could find no cause like something dropping from the ceiling.

9/23/2010 - Email Majik

I just realized that I needed to setup a conference call/meeting that I had dropped over a week ago.  The Email string was left in my hands as I told this vendor that I would get back to her with my availability for the 30th.  As I was reviewing my calendar for that day, out of the blue, I get an email asking again for my availability.  It was as if my action of looking into a meeting that I had not thought about in over a week sparked thought in the vendor with which I needed to coordinate the meeting to contact me.  Little things like this tell me I am walking my path to enlightenment properly!

9/10/2010 - Wishful Thinking

This previous weekend my son and I were in the backyard and he looked over to our push scooter and said "Daddy, I have an idea. We should get one of those scooters that you do not have to push.  You know, the kind with a motor that go by them selves."

I laughed and said "Yes son, we should check into that" and put no more thought into it.

This afternoon I was going out to lunch with a friend when he asked me if I could take some LP's our of his trunk to the post office on the way to eat.  I said sure and backed my car up so his.  We got out of the car and before he opened the trunk he said "Hey, would you be interested in a scooter?"

"No, we already have one" I told him.

"This is one with a motor that you do not have to push." and I just stopped short and smiled.

I had not told my friend anything about what my son had hoped for and amazingly he arrives with the exact thing!  I accepted the gift from my firend (and the Universe!) and took it home for my son.  He and my wife both were amazed and enjoy the scooter!

9/9/2010 - Football

I was in a meeting today when I looked across the table, about ten feet from me, and saw a co-worker. I had not yet spoken to him in the meeting and was thinking that I should talk to him about the new NFL season; we are both Steelers fans. The second our eyes made contact, I immediately smiled at him and mouthed "Football!" to him.

The amazing thing is that he mouthed the exact same words back at me as if I was looking in a mirror. It was almost as if me thinking about talking football with him connected us in a way that we spoke the exact same word at the exact same time.

Kind of cool!

9/2/2010 - Car Trouble

I was driving home from work today and was nearly pushed out of my lane by an agressive driver. This man was weaving back and forth through traffic generally being unsafe. I pulled up to a red light in which there was a long line of cars. I had to turn left and got to the front of the main line when I noticed that the man was back several cars in the line going straight. I thought to myself, "it would be really deserving if the car in front of him stalled out and forced him to be stuck in that line for just a while. Maybe it would teach him a lesson in patience."

While I was waiting for the left arrow to turn green, the main light did change. I looked in my rearview mirror and watched as each car ahead of him started to move. I then noticed something amazing...his car was not moving an inch. It turns out that his vehicle was the one that had stalled. I continued to watch as cars honked and flashed their lights at him while he slowly moved down the road.

It is so amazing how my thoughts seem to manipulate my surroundings!

8/26/2010 - Long-Distance Meeting

Way back in January of 2009 I was given duplicate instruction material by the order. I contacted their San Jose North America headquarters asking how I might return it. The person I spoke with gave me a mailing address and name as a recipient. I wrote it all down on the outer envelope and stashed it in my work notebook. I never got around to sending it back.

As I am in San Jose, I decided to go over to the headquarters park/museum and try and find the person to which I needed to return the material. I went to the building which used to be the administrative offices and it was being renovated. It referred me to the library. When I got to the library, I saw an individual in the atrium. I asked her if she knew to whom I might return duplicate material and she said "That would be me."

I handed her the envelope and she had an astonished look on her face. Confused, I gestured to the packet and she said, "That is actually my name on your envelope. Have you been to our library before? We have quite a few books on mysticism, spirituality and history."

Recognizing the synchronicity I began to take note of my surroundings and looked around. It was then when I saw a flier that I recognized on the counter. It was for an even Leo is hosting in Santa Fe soon. I took a flier, giggled to myself, thanked her for her time and too my leave.

I might say this has been quite amazing!
