11/26/2008 - Professional Meaning

I skipped over the meaning of Cauda Draconis from a professional perspective as I figured the sign may have been associated with Spirituality only. This is what it says:

"If you obtain Cauda Draconis as an answer to a professional question: if I was in your shoes, I would not take another step without getting a lot more guarantees. You might be exposed to a swindle, or fall into a trap. The morality of your collaborators/colleagues/employer should be thoroughly scrutinized, as Cauda Draconis alerts you to a possibility of manipulation or vicious rumors. Full light must be made: do not be afraid to turn the stone over, even if underneath you find it crawling with creepies: truth might wound, but lies can kill."

I only mention this because today a close co-worker and my good friend along with my boss (also a good friend) were put on administrative leave Monday due to an HR scandal that I know my boss has nothing to do with.

I found an email that would complicate the issue and could have easily buried it, but since I am an honest man and I have read the above paragraph, I will need to be truthful. I hope that the email at least returns my boss, but I have a feeling it will not save my co-worker friend.

Regardless of what happens, I truly believe that this HR situation is the warning from Cauda Draconis.

11/18/2008 - Cauda Draconis - G16

I have been researching the sparrow sigil and found a few similar symbols:










I noticed that the symbol for borax had a similar shape. If I took the symbol and mirrored it off the left side it would basically produce it, but I felt in my heart that there was a better match out there.

It was shortly after that realization that I found it!


















Cauda Draconis literrally means Tail of the Dragon in Latin.

A geomancy site stated the following about Cauda Draconis:

"Cauda Draconis, the Moon's South Node or Dragon's Tail, is associated with the negative sides of Saturn and Scorpio. It can show misfortune and the need to pay for past debts. Cauda Draconis favors the termination of something. When Cauda falls in the first house, many geomancers destroy the figure.

If you obtain Cauda Draconis as an answer to a spiritual question: stop and think. You might be influenced and pushed in a dangerous, harmful direction, harmful and destructive for you as well as for others. Analyze your deeper motives and try to understand your real intentions when it comes to spirituality, or should we say magic? Are you sure your quest is not motivated by the desire to dominate other human beings without paying the price of true initiation which always involve reaching down to the depths of yourself? But maybe you are not the problem: take a critical look at the person you have chosen as your spiritual guide and examine his motivations. Do not lose hope however, and remember the one who said: seek, and you will find... Trust your intuition, it can change everything."

I also beleive that Cauda Draconis represents, in your western astrological chart, one of the lunar nodes. A node is moment when the moon crosses the ecliptic of the sun in the same way it did when you were born. The beginning node being the Caput Draconis (Head of the Dragon.)

I am not sure what this all means, but feel that Cauda Draconis does have a significance.

BTW, on the way to work this morning I passed a Mercedes whos vanity plate read THINKPOS!

11/09/2008 - Sigils

I attended an Autumn Social at Leo's house today with my family. It was a nice potluck with great people. We did a harvest/seed exercise that was interesting. Basically you talked with the group about what was your Harvest from the previous year and what seed you would plant for the upcoming. I harvested knowledge and seeded love.

I drew out the symbol to Leo and he said his first thought was that it looked like a Sigil. This started a research into Sigils. I will report what I find, if anything.

11/08/2008 - Signs in the Sky

I was sitting at a light this afternoon and looked up to see literally thousands of sparrows lined up continuously on a set of power lines over the intersection. I notices that they formed a shape similar to this:

















I do not yet know what it means, if anything, but I know I had never seen an uninterrupted line of all sparrows in that number in my life.
